About MEDITS
MEDITS is an international scientific programme focused on bottom trawl surveys in the Mediterranean Sea. It supports the collection of comparable information on demersal fishery resources, benthic communities and ecosystem indicators through coordinated survey methods.
The programme is designed around common standards: coordinated sampling, shared biological measurements, harmonised documentation and comparable outputs across participating areas.
